The levels

1. Equal-groups opener

   Predict 2 × 4, smash the product tile, observe two equal rows, and explain why all eight counters are counted.

2. Turn-around bout

   Use 4 × 3 to observe that rotating an equal-row array preserves its product.

3. Fives rhythm

   Solve 5 × 6 and connect the fact to five equal groups rather than adding the factors once.

4. Championship transfer

   Transfer equal-groups reasoning to the less familiar 7 × 6 fact and justify the product with a new array.
