What your child will figure out

  • Plot a given ordered pair by moving from the origin along x first and y second.
  • Read a marked point as an ordered pair with its horizontal coordinate first.
  • Connect plotted coordinates to form a picture while preserving their order.
  • Transfer the x-then-y rule to points in all four quadrants and adaptive generated maps.

The levels

  1. Sunstone cache

Predict by tapping (3, 4), observe the x-then-y route and flag drop, then explain why it lands exactly.

  2. Riverside flag

Read a marked first-quadrant point from axis labels and distinguish (4, 2) from its reversal.

  3. Tent trail

Plot three ordered points in sequence and observe them connect into a picture.

  4. Shadow-cave vault

Transfer the route rule to all four quadrants by plotting (-3, -2).

Ready when they are.
